Welcome to the EASN department at Alloa Academy
About Us
EASN (Extended Additional Support Needs) is Clackmannanshire Education Service’s Secondary provision for young people S1-S6, with severe and complex needs, who require significant support to access the curriculum.
The Department is integrated within Alloa Academy which provides opportunities for our pupils to access specialist subject teaching alongside a highly supported bespoke curriculum for our learners.
As well as providing opportunities in learning, our dedicated staff team also provide the necessary pastoral and personal care required to ensure our young people are safe, secure and ready to learn.
We currently have 5 classes, 2 BGE (Broad General Education) and 3 Senior phase classes, with 6-8 pupils in each class.
Pupil Absence
If your child is going to be absent from school or has an appointment, please contact the school as soon as possible, we cannot rely on information passed to us from school transport. This ensures the safety and well-being of pupils and keeps their record accurate and up to date.
