Welcome to the Technologies faculty! This faculty includes the lively and dynamic departments of Business Studies, Admin & IT, Computing and Design & Technology where a wide range of subjects are delivered. In this faculty we are committed to providing as many subject pathways that can be accessed by all learners as possible. Our main goal is to provide a space for pupils to come and enjoy our subjects and gain qualifications at all levels, regardless of whether they aim for university, apprenticeships or the world of work - we have subjects that they will enjoy and can succeed in. 

It is our aim in the Technology Faculty to prepare pupils to participate in a rapidly changing world in which work and other activities are increasingly transformed by access to varied and developing technology. Our role is to develop vital knowledge and skills demanded in the workplace and fundamental to everyday life and for pupils to able to embrace further developments in the future.

With this in mind, each member of staff in the faculty seeks to promote: a confident attitude to learning new skills and using new technologies; the development of a sense of responsibility for their own actions and personal health & safety; the development of interpersonal skills, being able to creatively solve problems and promote enterprising behaviour. 

Additionally, we are also the faculty responsible for the school's coffee shop - The Bottom Blend. This space is rapidly growing to become a vital aspect of our school life and is providing a place for many young people to gain vital experience in teamworking, work life and confidence.
